Qui non troverete storielle di adolescenti persi d’amore (ah!), che studiano poco, pensano anche meno e passano il tempo a parlare del gadget cha va più di moda. No. “Harry Potter” è tutta un’altra storia….e What a story! Not easy to tell, especially for a fierce fan (see: me), but they may groped.
Last of the saga, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" concludes (safe?) The travel and the battles of our beloved hero. Even the most demanding (see: me) have not been disappointed: the secrets were revealed, doubts have been cleared, new roads have been undertaken. Forget the media: the Italians are stupid, bigoted and ignorant ... just read some reviews to see evidence of a clear cultural and religious heritage that leaves little room for a certain type of work. All they can to draw up the significant concerns in the bank account of the author (which can never be thank you enough for what he has created) and young actors. Typical of our most learned (and invidiosissimi) of gossip ... oops, journalists! But 'nuff said.
The book, needless to say, is a true masterpiece. Like previous chapters, this also requires critical thinking, imagination and ability to see beyond the mere word. When it comes to Harry Potter if they can not tell the story: every episode is so important, intense, full of details and nuances do not forget, you can not help but read books. Anyone who has just seen the film (as well made, and not even all) may have a vague image of what it is. Nothing more. Harry Potter must be lived, touched, page after page. There lies its spirit, its magic: it makes you laugh, cry, laugh, curse, to dream. His world is much closer to ours than you might think (who remind you of the Death Eaters? Just to name a prime example). In fact, it is our and only they have the Magic (which we lack so unforgivable). JK Rowling deserves to be studied in school along with Swift, Kipling, Hemingway, Tolkien (another to be included in the list). The reasons are many and diverse, some more some less serious (well, depending on your point of view): we live in a time of profound changes and difficult decisions ... would be nice to teach young people (and adults) than it loyalty, humility, love, courage to face their fears, that we are each different, but not enemies, that there are no perfect men, that not everything is as it seems, that the wisdom and knowledge are daughters of mistakes and pain that even if you are a bit 'losers can make great things that sometimes you have to choose "what is right, not what is easy" and that all our actions, good or bad, we plunged back on him sooner or later, one way or another. And then, the world of Harry Potter has all that many (see: me) want: a magic school, the Principal "cool" (there is no other definition); tables fighting with one another; chocolate frogs that come to life subjects of photos and pictures that move (and may even make some rude gesture, if it bothers them) ... So, why read it and love are so many that any word is a waste of time. So ...
A note: Unfortunately, the Italian translation is nowhere near the height of the original, nor of previous translations. In two words, poor and flat. Not to mention, then, of a printing error which resulted in the elimination of a period (relative to a scene in the Great Hall): inadmissible.

In response to the post about the caves, a friend of my attention to an open letter published on the website of Agora Magazine, sent by two National Councillors and by the Energy Working Group of Italy Nostra (National Association for the preservation of historic, artistic and natural heritage of the nation) and addressed to the mayor of Verzino Dr. Italo Russo.

" We read in local newspapers that the City of Verzino extended the deadline of the call for finding a company willing to make - in any part of the area - a mega-windfarm: 40 posts from 105 meters. The first race had been deserted. The territory of
Verzino of ancient culture, preserving a wealth of historical, archaeological, natural and landscape of great value.
In particular, it has the highest concentration of delicate caves and sinkholes, the heart of the Geopark Ipogeo of Crotone, which should be preserved and better known, to enable and enhance the enjoyment from a naturalistic tourism, including international, growing in our country and which may be a source of secure economic prosperity and cultural citizenship.
Therefore, we encourage you to want to give up any mega-project wind energy plant, high impact on the territory of Verzino fine, but that may well promote more sustainable its precious natural and cultural resources to deliver them, intact, to future generations future.
On the other hand, we became aware that the region of Calabria has decided to solve the problem of wind energy suspending any license for 120 days after the entry into force of the law by a recognition of emergencies and needs.
In the vote on the regional budget, in fact, approved last June 23, came two amendments that relate to the wind and renewable energy.
Through these amendments, inter alia, states that ... "The Department of the regional production activities, within thirty days from the date of entry into force of the law (23 July), determines the number of single authorizations for the construction of installations from renewable sources (wind, biomass, solar, hydro). The Region shall declare the forfeiture of permits only, for which it has not been fulfilled by the applicant, the commitment sottoscritto al rispetto dei termini di inizio e fine lavori.
La Giunta Regionale- entro quaranta giorni dalla data di entrata in vigore della presente normativa e alla luce delle risultanze emerse dai precedenti accertamenti- presenta al consiglio regionale, che si impegna ad approvarla con procedura d’urgenza, una proposta di provvedimento .Quindi, ogni nuova concessione sarà sospesa”…… ”.

Lo sviluppo dei fenomeni carsici in questo territorio ha dato origine a sei grandi cavità: la Grave Grubbo, Grotta dello Stige, l’Antro del Torchia, la Grave dei due Manfred, la Grotta del Palummaro e del Nasone.
Le splendide cavità modellate dall’acqua, attraversate per tutta la lunghezza da fiumi sotterranei perenni, offrono ai visitatori incantevoli e suggestivi scenari: ambienti notevolmente ampi con altezze che superano i 15 metri, doline in mezzo alla campagna, stalattiti e stalagmiti nonché tipi di special flora and fauna including white columns of bats.
